Content categories

Issues identified through code audit of Home, ServiceTranslation, ServiceLocalization, MultilingsualMarketingServices, and supporting pages. Priority order: High → Medium → Low.

Home Page H1

High

Issue: H1 content comes from a translation key (t(language, 'hero.title1')) — not crawlable as static text. Googlebot may not execute JS reliably for H1 content.

Fix: Render a static fallback H1 in the SSR-friendly noscript block and ensure the H1 is rendered server-side or pre-rendered.

Home Page — Keyword Targeting

High

Issue: Title tag includes both 'London' and 'UK' but primary keyword 'professional translation services' is buried mid-title. Title is 95 chars — likely truncated at ~60 chars in SERPs.

Fix: Reorder: 'Professional Translation Services UK | The Language Club — 120 Languages, Since 2013'

ServiceLocalization — UK Spelling

High

Issue: H1 reads 'Localization Services' (US English). UK B2B buyers search 'localisation'. Title tag uses 'Localisation' but body H1 contradicts.

Fix: Change H1 to 'Localisation Services'. Audit all body copy for mixed US/UK spelling.

EEAT — Missing Author Signals

High

Issue: No author bios on any blog posts or service pages. No LinkedIn links for named experts. No 'About the author' schema. Google's HCU penalises thin EEAT.

Fix: Add author bio blocks with credentials, LinkedIn links, and Person schema to all blog and guide content.

Internal Linking — Orphan Pages

High

Issue: 9 programmatic pages (e.g. /saas-ui-localisation, /subtitle-localisation-gaming) receive no inbound links from pillar pages or the nav. Orphan status prevents PageRank flow.

Fix: Add contextual links from relevant pillar pages and the footer. Create a Sitemap page with categories.

ServiceTranslation — Heading Structure

Medium

Issue: H2 'Why Choose Our Translation Services' and 'Our Translation Services' are too generic. No LSI keywords in headings.

Fix: Rename to: 'Why UK Businesses Choose Our Translation Agency' and 'Types of Professional Translation We Provide'.

Home FAQ Schema

Medium

Issue: FAQPage schema is nested inside a ProfessionalService @type which is invalid. Google may not parse FAQs for rich results.

Fix: Move FAQPage to its own top-level @graph node in the schema array.

AI Overview Optimisation

Medium

Issue: No Speakable markup on H2s on service pages. Answer-style opening paragraphs are absent on most pages. Google's AI Overviews pull from pages with direct question-answer structure.

Fix: Add speakable cssSelector to SEO component for H2s. Rewrite opening paragraphs as concise definitions followed by elaboration.

Conversion — Quote CTA Consistency

Medium

Issue: CTAs vary across pages: 'Get Free Quote', 'Request a Quote', 'Get in Touch', 'Get Quote'. Inconsistent microcopy dilutes conversion intent.

Fix: Standardise primary CTA to 'Request a Free Quote' across all pages. Test 'Get Your Free Quote in 24h' for urgency.

Missing Comparison Content

Medium

Issue: Zero comparison/versus pages exist. These capture high-intent mid-funnel buyers researching options (e.g. 'DeepL vs human translation').

Fix: Create Phase 1 comparison pages as outlined in this map.

Glossary / Definition Pages

Low

Issue: No glossary or definition content exists despite dozens of specialist terms being used throughout the site.

Fix: Build glossary hub at /translation-glossary and individual definition pages.

Footer Internal Links

Low

Issue: Footer links use JS scroll anchors (scrollToSection) rather than crawlable href URLs. Google cannot follow these links.

Fix: Replace footer hash links with proper <Link to='/page'> routes for all crawlable destinations.
